MRSPTU Agriculture students engage in educational tour to Mini Zoo- cum-Deer Safari at Bir Talab

In a significant initiative, 28 first-year students pursuing B.Sc. Hons Agriculture at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, embarked on an educational journey to Mini Zoo- cum-Deer Safari forestry at Bir Talab.

Under the guidance of Dr. Wineet Chawla and Ms. Parveen Shelly, Assistant Professors from the School of Agriculture Sciences and Engineering, this expedition aims to explore the intricacies of forestry plants and wildlife sanctuary conservation.

Dr. Kawaljeet Singh Sandhu, the Head of the Department, emphasized the crucial role of such field trips in enhancing practical knowledge. Dr. Sandhu encouraged students to actively seek out more educational destinations to supplement their classroom learning.

This expedition provides a firsthand experience, unraveling the interplay between forestry plants and the pivotal role of wildlife sanctuaries in environmental conservation. The School of Agriculture Sciences and Engineering remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering practical learning opportunities, offering a vital supplement to academic studies.
