MP Preneet Kaur encourage Corona Warriors; Police gives guard of honour

Mr. Chandra Gaind, Divisional Commissioner, Patiala has taken a unique initiative under Mission Fateh to honor the Corona Warriors of Patiala. During a symbolic function held at the Divisional Commissioner’s residence here this evening, 24 members of the para medical staff and 12 doctors of the district were given guard of honor by the police and were felicitated by the Divisional Commissioner Mr. Chandra Gaind.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Preneet Kaur, Lok Sabha Member from Patiala, while encouraging the all Corona Warriors through video conferencing, said that during the global epidemic of COVID-19, doctors, nursing staff including police, NGOs, Anganwadi and ASHA workers, sanitary workers etc. have been playing a very important role.

Preneet Kaur said that the public should not only support the Corona Warriors but also follow the guidelines issued by the Punjab Government to make the Mission Fateh a success.

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Gaind said that Corona warriors have played their role in saving humanity from this incurable disease during the growing COVID pandemic all over the world for which it is our primary duty to inspire them.

Mr. Chander Gaind said that all the Corona Warriors of District Patiala would be honored in a series and under this special honor has been conferred on the doctors and para medical staff today. He said that after this, other Corona fighters would be honored in the same manner.

Mr Gaind appealed to the general public to contact the nearest government health center or Rajindra Hospital immediately, in case of any symptoms wherever they get their tests done without any hesitation to avoid the COVID infection and save precious lives.

District and Sessions Judge Rajinder Agarwal, IG Mr. Jatinder Singh Aulakh, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Kumar Amit, SSP Mr. Vikram Jeet Duggal, Incharge Covid Care Rajendra Hospital Mrs. Surbhi Malik, Commissioner MC Mrs Poonamdeep Kaur, ADC (D) Dr. Preeti Yadav, ADC (G) Mrs. Pooja Sayal Grewal, Deputy Commissioner of Income-tax Kamaldeep Singh, Civil Surgeon Dr. Harish Malhotra, Assistant Commissioner Dr. Ismat Vijay Singh and SDM Patiala Charanjit Singh were also present on this occasion.
