LPUNEST-2019 Phase I Result Decalared: Counselling for Seat Allotment commences

Lovely Professional University had conducted its annual National Eligibility and Scholarship (Phase-I) Test ‘LPUNEST-2019’ for selection to its various engineering and other programmes. The result for first phase of ‘LPUNEST’ has been declared, and online counselling for seat allotment has also started. Accordingly, after registration for ‘counselling & choice seat -filling’ till 9th May; seat allotment result will be declared on May 10; and, admission in allotted programme will be from 10th to May 16, 2019.

Some of the toppers of LPUNEST-2019 Phase I, in their respective stream applied for, are Nimmalapidi D V Ram Subhash from Andhra Pradesh in Agriculture; Sudhanshu Maddeshiya from Bihar in Applied Medical Sciences; Harsh Kumar from Chandigarh in BTech Programme; Kanika of Punjab in B.Ed; Aditya Aman of Jharkhand in B Design; Sejal Handa of Madhya Pradesh in Hotel Mangement; Kartik Sharma of Himachal Pradesh in Integrated B.Ed; Vaishnavi Mishra of Punjab in Integrated M.Ed; Tom Michael of Kerala in Lateral Entry; Vijay Sheoran of Haryana in Law; Shaanika from Kerala in LLM; Kalpana Bujuti of Andhra Pradesh in M.Tech; Nimai Charan Maikap of Odisha in MCA; and, Jasti Mary Chandana of Telangana in PG Sciences. All of them and many of their qualified successors are to get 50% scholarship amount of their related progamme fee.

LPU Director Mr Aman Mittal advises all successful candidates to register for securing their preferred seat by avoiding any unnecessary last hours’ disappointments. In fact, ‘LPUNEST’ test is held online every year for which students register from across the country to take admission in LPU programmes. LPUNEST is also the basis for scholarship, which is provided to those students who score high in the exam.

Successful Phase 1 students can get scholarship up to Rs 5 Lakh per student; whereas, next phases’ students will get less amount of scholarship, in proportion to phase 1. LPUNEST is conducted at 350+ notified centres in 200+ cities of the country. LPUNEST forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and scholarship for most of the programmes. Application process for schedule II has also been started and last date of application form submission is May 25, 2019.

Highlighting, LPUNEST 2019 Phase I Result is available online. Candidates, who appeared in the test, can check their individual result by logging LPU portal and using their application number/ email ID and password. Candidates who stand qualified can take admission in LPU Programmes, subject to all other eligibility criteria. LPUNEST was conducted for admission to the B.Tech, B Design, LLB, LLM, BHMCT, B Pharma, MBA, BBA, B.Sc Hotel Management, B.Sc Agriculture and other 100+ programmes offered at the University.
