Punjab Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Minister S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian handed over appointment letters to 11 youth in Animal Husbandry department here at his office, on Thursday. Among these, seven has been appointed as Veterinary Inspector, three Steno Typist and one class four in the department.
While congratulating the newly-recruited officials, S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian said that Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab government has been making concerted efforts to provide employment opportunities to the youth of the state and around 50,000 jobs have already been given in various departments of the state government in just its 33-month regime.
The Animal Husbandry Minister exhorted the officials to work for the development of Punjab and to give their utmost to ensure transparent and efficient delivery of services to the people of the state. He said that this recruitment process has been carried out solely based on merit, following a completely transparent procedure.
Director Animal Husbandry Dr. GS Bedi and other officials of the department were also present on the occasion.
