BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, who is also the party in-charge for J&K, today said that terrorism will be decisively defeated in Jammu & Kashmir, and a new vision of progress, as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is already gaining ground.
Paying tribute to the security personnel martyred in the Kathua encounter, Chugh said the Pakistan ISI has been making desperate attempts to disturb peace and hinder progress in J&K. However, the dynamic vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to pave new paths of development will go a long way in defeating ISI’s designs.
Chugh said that the Prime Minister will soon script a historic moment for J&K by flagging off the Vande Bharat train from Delhi to Srinagar, a route that will also bring the world’s highest railway bridge into operation.
He asserted that Pakistan’s ISI cannot disrupt the developmental vision symbolised by “Vande Bharat”, and every attempt to infiltrate terrorists into J&K will be dealt with firmly and decisively.
Chugh added that ever since the abrogation of Article 370, there has been a manifold increase in development and progress. New job opportunities are being created, and terrorism has been comprehensively replaced by a new era of tourism.
