Punjab Government has appointed Simrat Kaur IPS (RR 2016) as new Senior Superintendent of Police, Malerkotla.
She was till now serving as AIG Counter Intelligence, Patiala.
She replaces Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh, PPS who was transferred on ECI orders.
The orders came in compliance of order of ECI.
