IG PAP dedicates two Open-Air Gyms for Police families in PAP

On the directions of Special Director General of Police (DGP) PAP, Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota, two open-air gyms were dedicated to the police families by Inspector General of Police (IGP) PAP MF Farooqui in PAP Complex on Tuesday.

Accompanied by the commandant 7th battalion of PAP Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh, IGP MF Farooqui said that the project of setting up open air-gyms have come up in a record time with dedicated efforts put by commandant 7th battalion of PAP.

He said that in today’s world everyone is concerned about their health and these open-air gyms would fulfill the need for regular exercise and workouts.

He revealed that more than 1200 families of police employees are living inside the PAP complex.

Meanwhile, Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh said that not only the youngsters but the elderly persons as well as women would be benefitted by exercising in the fresh air through open-air gyms.

He said that they will remain fit and healthy and will not have to pay a penny for exercising.
