Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accused the Badal-Captain duo of fighting the ongoing Lok Sabha elections like A and B teams to help each other’s nominees to win.
Addressing people of the area during a massive road show taken out here on Wednesday in support of party candidate from Bathinda constituency, Prof Baljinder Kaur, Kejriwal said “Badal (Sukhbir Badal) and Captain Amarinder Singh are fighting the ongoing Lok Sabha election on a mutual pact to make each others’ wives from Bathinda and Patiala, respectively, stating they were playing safe to grab power. I appeal to you all to bid good bye to both of them”.
Commenting on the run-down roads, lanes and by lanes of Budhlada town and its adjoining areas, AAP leader said that his government in Delhi had done a commendable job in this regard during its 4-year stint in power, adding that electricity was available to people at Re 1 per unit with no ‘cut’ in supply. “I did it in Delhi in just 4 years, whereas Harsimrat Badal couldn’t construct a single road during her 10-year long tenure a union minister. So, let not your precious vote go waste by casting it in her favour”
Kejriwal called upon the people of the area to vote, support and elect ever-accessible, educated and uprigt AAP’s best bet Prof Baljinder Kaur, who had already proved her mettle as an MLA, adding that Harsimart Kaur Badal resides in Delhi and Raja Warring lives in Muktsar Sahib and visit the area once in a while.
