Haryana Police arrest two dreaded gangsters Manoj Mangariya & Deepak Deepu

As a part of crackdown on dreaded criminals, Haryana Police has been successful in arresting kingpins of major gangs, wanted criminals and other gangsters during the last few days across the state.

In this series, two gangsters Manoj Mangariya and Deepak alias Deepu, both carrying a cash reward of Rs 2 lakh and Rs 5000 respectively, were arrested today.

Giving this information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that in the recent crime situation review meeting, Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij had directed the Police Department to adopt zero tolerance against crime and criminals. While assuring the strengthening of Special Task Force (STF), set up to deal with organized crimes, the Minister directed the Police officers to take instant action against criminal elements. He also asserted that criminals should have fear of the law while public should have faith in the police.

Giving details of the crackdown on criminals, the spokesperson informed that Manoj Mangariya, a life convict and parole jumber, was wanted in Manoj Bhati murder case which he committed with the help of other associates in year 2020. All other six accused have already been arrested.

Deepak, an associate of Kaushal gang, was wanted in murder case registered in Gurugram. He was a key conspirator in the killing of Manish.

Recently, Police had also arrested the gangster Ramkaran Baiyapur from a hotel in Delhi. He is accused of conspiring in the shooting of Ajay alias Bittu Barona in the Sonepat Court premises on March 18 and killing his father in the village Barona. After this incident Ramkaran was trying to escape abroad.

In a similar development, gangster Surender alias Cheeku was apprended by conducting a raid in village Mohanpur in Narnaul. 22 cases pertaining to murder, attempt to murder, robbery and NDPS Act are registered against him in Gurugram, Rewari, Alwar, Jhunjhunu and Jaipur in Rajasthan.

Apart from this, in connection with the recent shootout of two persons at Kalka chowk in Ambala, Police had also arrested an accused, resident of Panchkula. The reason for the shootout was gangwar between Lawrence Bishnoi and Bhuppi Rana gangs.

“Our teams are working to prevent unlawful activities to ensure the safety and security of citizens across the state. Besides, the STF has staged a massive crackdown on gangsters and dreaded criminals across the state. We have identified a number of most wanted and dreaded criminals who were spreading their criminal activities in Haryana and neighbouring states and who will be apprehended soon” he added.
