Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar bereaved, younger brother Gulshan Khattar passes away

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal’s younger brother, Sh. Gulshan Khattar passed away today. He was 56 years old. The entire state mourned the untimely demise of the younger brother of the Chief Minister.

Sh. Gulshan Khattar was admitted in Medanta Hospital in Gurugram two days ago after he suffered a heart attack, where he breathed his last this morning.

Tributes were paid to the departed soul by observing a two-minute silence at the Felicitation Ceremony for Sportspersons of Haryana who participated and won medals at Tokyo Olympics 2020 held in Panchkula today.

Sh. Gulshan Khattar led a simple life and is survived by two sons and one daughter. He used to himself cultivate on his agricultural land located in Baniyani village.

On his death, Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta, Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala, Deputy Speaker, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa, the entire council of ministers and MLAs expressed grief and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal’s request to the people

In a message issued here, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said he was informing with a very heavy heart that his brother, Sh. Gulshan Khattar has passed away today in Gurugram.

He said that it was an irreparable loss and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

In his message, the Chief Minister said that after attending the funeral in Rohtak, he will be in Chandigarh on August 14 and then he will reach Delhi after hoisting the flag in Faridabad on August 15.

He requested everyone to refrain from large gatherings at one place and to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols.
