German delegation calls upon Cabinet Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu

A high level delegation team from German company CLAAS based out of Morinda, Punjab, today called upon the Health and Family Welfare and Labour Minister, Punjab, Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu along with Additional Chief Secretary – Ms. Vini Mahajan, Principal Secretary, Labour – Mr. Vijay kumar Janjua and other senior Government officials.

Disclosing this, an official spokesman said that the issues pertaining to the implementation of Flexible Manufacturing Concept, developing dual education system, skill development and concept of flexible working hours were discussed for better employability perspective and retaining the best talent pool in the state.

The minister assured them of all possible assistance and said that Punjab has the best environment conducive to flourishing of trade and commerce.

The German delegation was led by Mr. Jan Hendrik Mohr (CEO Business Unit Grain and Member of Group Executive Board, Claas Germany) along with Mr. Sriram Kannan (Managing Director, Claas India), Mr. Sumit Kaplish (General Manager, Supply Chain Management, Claas India), Mr. Bhawish Awasthy (Chief Human Resource Officer, Claas India.
