SEVA Trust UK (India), a public charitable trust working in Punjab and Haryana on Education, Health, Environment and Social-welfare organised a free medical check-up camp at village Lohgarh (Distt. Ludhiana) with the support and approval by the Director of Ayurveda Punjab, Dr. Poonam Vashisht and District Ayurvdic and Unani Officer for Ludhiana Dr. Pankaj Gupta.
376 patients were examined by a team of doctors and their supporting staff that included Dr. Gurmel Singh, Dr. Deepika Verma, Upved Harkiran Singh. Vikramjit Lamba, CHO Amandeep Kaur, Harmandeep Kaur ANM and Asha workers.
Gurdeep Singh Pannu of SEVA Trust said “All patients received free medicines, immunity booster kits and healthy juices provided by the Trust. I would like to thank Dabur India and Kuldeep Singh Cheema for their support.”
Village Sarpanch Amrik Singh said “This was the first time a medical camp of this scale was held in our village and I would like to thank SEVA Trust and all the doctors for their support.” Trust members Amandeep Singh Pakhowal, Panch Balwant Singh, Sukhdarshan Singh were also present on the occasion.
