The Employees Union of Jalandhar DC Office on Friday honoured the Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma and Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr Jasbir Singh who were recently awarded by the Election Commission of India (ECI) for the state level award for the best election management and best Special Award under SVEEP program.
Later, Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma said that the award was recognition of the hard work and concerted efforts made by all the employees to conduct smooth and hassle-free elections in the district. Mr Sharma said that the entire team of employees deserves applause for these awards.
On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (D) Mr Kulwant Singh, Assistant Commissioner Mr Hardeep Dhaliwal, DRO Mr Jashanjeet Singh and others were present.
