The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee President Mr Manjinder Singh Sirsa has strongly condemned the BBC Channel for disrespect to journalist Lord Inderjit Singh and said that by debareinh him to present a program on Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji it has hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community settled worldwide.
In a statement released here today Mr Sirsa said that by debarring Inderjit Singh the .BBCWorld cannot change the history nor the truth. ‘Rather this shows their agenda and collaboration in twisting the history for their benefit,’ quipped Sirsa.
The DSGMC President said that Journalist Lord Inderjit Singh wanted to present the story of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and how he fought against Islamic Oppression & Forced Conversion.
He said that the act of BBC in the present case has exposed its credibility, fairness and its impartiality in its working. He said that this act has hurt sentiments of billions of Sikhs residing worldwide in an year when the whole community is conveying message of humanity as given by Guru Nanak Dev ji in all over the world.
He said this act should be condemned in strongest possible word and Sikhs demand that the media house should apologise to Lord Singh or the entire community would boycott the channel completely.
