Harmeet Singh Kalka, President, DSGMC has appealed to Telangana CM Mr. Chandra shekhar Rao to intervene to give justice to the minor Sikh girl who has been raped and murdered at Subhash Nagar, Jeedimelta, Qutbullahpur, Hyderabad two days ago. According to the victim family, Police is not cooperating and hushing up the matter by registering the FIR under weak section of IPC because of they have no say.
Kalka said we demand fair inquiry in this case and inclusion of sections 376 and 302 of IPC in the FIR. Sikh Sangat from worldwide is worried on this issue and demand immediate action against accused.
Jagdip Singh Kahlon, General Secretary, DSGMC said Sikhs are micro minority in Telangana State and there is strong feeling of resentment among the Sikh community worldwide on Police is not doing justice with the family.
It is the moral duty of the CM to provide justice to the victim family who are running from pillar to post for inclusion of proper sections in the said FIR. Sikhs expect immediate action on the part of Telangana CM Mr. Rao for which Sikh community shall be grateful to him.
