Manish Tewari, a member of the Lok Sabha from Sri Anandpur Sahib, has said that the Congress party believes in the politics of development, for which mutual community and peace plays an important role. He was addressing a public meeting at village Council in Kharar Vidhan Sabha constituency.
Tewari emphasized that there would be no shortage of development in the Lok Sabha constituency. He mentioned the current situation in the country, how the citizenship reform law is being opposed everywhere.
He also mentioned the various activities being undertaken by the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh for the overall development of the state.
Former minister Jagmohan Singh Kang, meanwhile, said that the state’s economic situation in the previous SAD–BJP government had completely deteriorated,which is being reformed by the Congress government.
Investment is being encouraged for the industrial development of the state, for the improvement in the economic situation of Punjab and also to increase the employment opportunities.
