Brampton Councillor Gurpreet Singh Dhillon hosts community cleanup

Brampton, August 29, 2021 (Yes Punjab News)
On Sunday August 29th, Councillor Dhillon held a community clean-up at

Duncan Foster Valley located in Ward 10 along Bellchase Trail. Residents from the neighborhood, along with people from across Brampton, attended and participated in the event.

Attendees collectively filled numerous garbage during the event and were able to cover the

entire trail of Duncan Foster Valley, which ranges from Castle Oaks Crossing to Cottrelle Boulevard.

This was Councillor Dhillon’s second litter clean up of the year, and he is encouraging residents to also engage in their own cleanups of their neighbourhoods, where the city will provide any required equipment.

“I’m thankful for the volunteers who dedicated their time to help clean our parks and trails. However, litter is preventable. We must continue to educate those who illegally litter and dump garbage that they must stop for the sake of our environment. As a community, if we all do our part, we can strive to make our city truly litter free.”
