New Delhi, October 29, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has announced plans to reach university campuses across the country through student interactions and dialogues as part of a wider effort to strengthen its youth outreach and mobilise young voters.

The announcement came at the youth wing’s first National Executive meeting, held at the BJP headquarters extension on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg in New Delhi on Thursday. The meeting focused on the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ and the nationwide ‘Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao’ campaign.

The gathering was attended by BJP President Nitin Nabin, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya, BJYM National President Hemang Joshi, BJP National General Secretary Harish Dwivedi and youth wing office-bearers from across the country.

Addressing the meeting, Nabin congratulated the newly constituted BJYM team and spoke about the BJP’s organisational and ideological journey. He said young people would play a key role in achieving the goal of a developed India by 2047.

Targeting the Opposition, Nabin accused the INDIA alliance of spreading misinformation through alleged fake videos and misleading narratives on the Constitution and reservation. He asked BJYM workers to counter such claims through coordinated outreach on social media and at public and political forums.

He also called for greater engagement with professionals in fields such as law, medicine, engineering, sports and research. Referring to medical education, he claimed that the number of annual medical opportunities had increased from around 5,000 under earlier governments to more than 1.5 lakh under the present administration.

In his presidential address, Joshi called for nation-first politics and an end to VIP culture. He said the BJYM would organise campus dialogues, student interactions and other programmes across universities.

Mandaviya outlined the Centre’s initiatives in education, skill development, employment and sports, urging youth wing workers to take self-reliance programmes to the grassroots.

Dwivedi stressed the need for stronger youth outreach, while BJYM National General Secretary Arpita Aparajita Badajena presented a campaign roadmap covering youth conventions, campus dialogues and district-level programmes.

BJP IT and Social Media National Convenor Deepak Mhaskey also cautioned against AI-enabled misinformation and fake news, urging workers to promote verified information.

The meeting concluded with a call to strengthen the organisation, mobilise young people and advance the BJP’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
