Beware! – IRCTC cautions people about online fraud in its name

Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation has cautioned people about online fraud being committed in its name.

A communiqué from IRCTC said IRCTC-IT Centre has received two complaints recently for fraud booking in the name of IRCTC.

Giving details the IRCTC said the fraud website is

It said the tour confirmation voucher of fraud website is exactly same as IRCTC.

The mentioned details on the fraud website are Mobile No.999999999 and landline No.+91 6371526046 and email id given is [email protected].

People were informed that the above details were being used for selling tourism products in the name of IRCTC.

The IRCTC has already filed the FIRs from counter as well as through online and an alert scroller has been updated in the tourism homepage.

However, it seems that the fraudsters have ‘closed shop’ as when tried to reach out to the website it could not be loaded.

It is pertinent to mention here that the is the most trusted and official website for Railway & Air Bookings besides other travel and tourism products offered by IRCTC.
