Actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan brought a touch of Punjabi flavour to their promotional tour for their upcoming film “Udta Teer” as they explored Chandigarh and its countryside.
Ayushmann, who hails from Chandigarh, was seen enjoying a glass of traditional lassi during the visit, while Sara embraced the local culture in a vibrant pink Punjabi suit.
Sharing glimpses from the trip on Instagram, Sara posted a video from a farm where she introduced Ayushmann in her own poetic style.
“Sat Sri Akal, viewers. This morning, I had a dream. I am in Chandigarh, in the heart of Punjab. With me is a man who is extremely amazing,” she said before introducing Ayushmann.
In the video, Ayushmann was seen holding a large copper glass and wearing a denim outfit with a white shirt featuring the words “Udta Teer”. The two later posed together, with Sara resting her head on Ayushmann’s shoulder.
The actor also took Sara on a tractor ride, with the actress seated beside him as they explored the countryside and got a glimpse of traditional Punjabi farm life.
The Chandigarh visit came as the duo promoted “Udta Teer”, directed by Aakash Kaushik. The film was initially scheduled to release on October 9, 2026, but its theatrical release has now been pushed to October 23.
Ayushmann plays Bilal Ahmad, a Pakistani spy who suffers from memory loss. The film also features Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Mukul Dev, Suhail Nayyar, Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Sandeep Anand, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Smita Tambe in prominent roles.
