The Army’s Amogh Division, successfully carried out a daring rescue operation to bring down a youth who got stuck at a height due to a snapped wire while hoisting the Chola Sahib on the Nishan Sahib at the local Gurdwara Sahib in village Gidderanwala.
An official spokesperson informed that the district administration received information that a youth had climbed up to hoist the Chola Sahib on the Nishan Sahib of the village Gurdwara Sahib. During the process, the wire suddenly broke, leaving the youth stranded at a considerable height.
Upon receiving the information, The Army immediately responded and with great courage and presence of mind, carried out a rescue operation to safely bring down the youth who was stuck at a significant height.
Due to the Army’s timely and well-planned action, the youth was rescued safely. He is completely safe and unharmed and no untoward incident occurred. The Deputy Commissioner also expressed special gratitude to the Army’s Amogh Division for their bravery and presence of mind in successfully handling the situation.
