The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national spokesperson, Punjab Affairs co-in-charge and MLA from Delhi Raghav Chadha paid obeisance at the holy shrine of Lord Valmiki, Sri Ram Tirath Dham to seek blessings of Lord Valmiki, the author of sacred Ramayana during his visit to Punjab on Monday.
Arriving at Ram Tirath Dham, Raghav Chadha bowed before the idol of Lord Valmiki and prayed for the peace and prosperity of Punjab. He said, “Lord Valmiki was an ocean of divine wisdom, the creator of Ramayana and the symbol of education. Everyone should try to follow the path shown by Bhagwan Valmiki.”
Meanwhile addressing the media, Raghav Chadha accused the Congress government of betrayal with Punjab. He said that the Ghar-Ghar Rozgar campaign of the Congress government may be false for three crore people of Punjab, but it is like a golden opportunity for the leaders of the ruling Congress; because like the Captain government of the Congress, now the Channi government has also started giving government appointments to son-in-laws, daughters and sons of its leaders.
He said that the latest matter was the appointment of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa’s son-in-law Tarun Vir Singh Lehal, as Additional Advocate General (AAG). “Why the government of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, who pretended to think about the interest of the people of Punjab, not remember the lakhs of unemployed people of the state, before giving this appointment to the Deputy CM’s son-in-law?
He further said that the Congress government is fulfilling the promise of Ghar-Ghar Rozgar; but it is being fulfilled by making some modifications for its ministers and MLAs. Chadha said that Chief Minister Channi has made it clear by his exploits that he too is following in the footsteps of former Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh.
The AAP leader said that the people of Punjab are well aware of the betrayal being committed by the Congress and will give them a befitting reply in the forthcoming elections.
