Apple on Tuesday announced the rollout of its latest software updates, including a beta version of its next-generation Siri AI, enhanced Apple Intelligence features and expanded parental controls.
The new software releases include iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27 and tvOS 27, the company said.
The upgraded Siri is being rolled out in English as a beta. Apple said support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish will be added in October.
The company has also introduced new parental-control tools designed to give families greater control over children’s digital experiences. These include age-based safeguards for child accounts, approval requirements for new websites and contacts, enhanced Communication Safety features and a redesigned Screen Time experience.
Separately, Apple announced that iCloud+ subscribers in India will receive access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost from this month.
iCloud+ subscriptions in India will start at Rs 75 per month for 50GB of storage. Subscribers will also get access to Apple Music Select, a collection of ad-free music stations.
Apple TV offers access to the company’s original films and series, while Apple Arcade provides more than 200 games without advertisements or in-app purchases.
The company said the iCloud+ bundle with Apple TV and Apple Arcade will be rolled out across more than 100 countries and regions by the end of September.
In India, Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be offered as individual subscriptions directly through Apple. Existing subscribers will continue to access the services through their iCloud+ subscription, while their individual subscriptions will be cancelled.
Apple One will also no longer be available to new subscribers in India. Existing Apple One subscribers, however, will continue to have access to their current plans.
