Television actress Ankita Lokhande shared a playful moment with actor Arjun Bijlani’s son Ayaan during a family celebration, as the young boy shyly joined her for a dance before making a quick escape.
A video shared by Arjun from the celebration shows Ankita happily dancing with Ayaan and encouraging him to join her. The youngster initially participates but soon appears bashful and runs away mid-dance, leaving those around them amused.
The moment was captured during celebrations for Arjun’s mother’s 75th birthday. Arjun shared several glimpses from the intimate gathering on social media, showing a venue decorated with balloons, flowers, a birthday backdrop and a special cake.
Sharing an emotional birthday note for his mother, Arjun described her as his “lifeline”, “strength” and “safest place”. He thanked her for raising the family with love, patience and courage and said that everything they are today carries a part of her.
“75 years of you, and we’re the luckiest to call you ours,” he wrote, wishing his mother happiness, good health and many more smiling years.
Ankita shares a longstanding friendship with Arjun and his wife Neha Swami. Ankita and Neha have often described their bond as being like sisters, with Ankita previously calling Neha her “true soulmate” and partner in crime.
Ankita has also known Ayaan since he was a toddler. Arjun and Neha welcomed their son in January 2015.
Ankita and Arjun have been friends for several years, with their association dating back to the early stages of their television careers.
