Angad Saini back in Congress, Raja Warring welcomes former MLA

Popular youth leader and former Nawanshahr MLA Angad Singh Saini today returned to the Congress. He was inducted into the party by the Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring here today. The PCC Working President Bharat Bhushan Ashu was also present on the occasion.

Welcoming him back into the party, Warring said, Angad was one of the promising pillars of the party who has emerged as a popular leader at a young age.

He disclosed that Angad’s induction back into the party had the blessings of the Congress president Ms Sonia Gandhi.

The PCC president said, he will be reaching out to all the Congressmen who were forced by circumstances to leave the party. He said, the Congress party will take along everyone and the party will emerge more stronger than ever with support and cooperation of all the workers and leaders together.

Speaking on the occasion, Angad said, he felt glad over his homecoming. He said, he was a committed Congressman and that is why he had rejected proposals of all other political parties who had offered him the assembly ticket when he was denied the same by the Congress party.

Angad said, with his return to Congress party all those who supported and voted for him have also automatically joined the party.

Others who rejoined the party include Rana Kuldeep Singh, Joginder Singh, Dr Kamaljeet, Jaideep Janghera, Amarjit Singh Bitta, Sachin Dewan, Lakhvir Singh, Joginder Singh, Kewal Singh, Dr Gurnam Saini, Ravi Chopra, Gurbachan Singh and Romi Khalsa.

Amongst the ones who joined. All the ex block presidents of the party chairman of nawanshahar and Rahon municipal committee. Chairman of the market committee chaman singh.
