Ms. Jai Inder Kaur, the daughter of former Chief Minister, Capt Amarinder Singh has been appointed the new president of the women wing of the Punjab, Jat Mahasabha.
She replaces Dr. Navjot Kaur, the wife of the Punjab Congress Committee President, Navjot Singh Sidhu.
The appointment was made today. A Jat Mahasabha spokesman said, given her experience in public life, Ms. Kaur will take the organization to new heights and work for the upliftment of society.
Tweeting the letter about her Appointment Pritpal Singh Balliawal, a spokesperson of Amarinder’s Punjab Lok Congress tagged Sidhu and said ‘First Wicket Down! Time starts changing! Loyalties convert!’
He also tagged Punjab Congress in the same Tweet and said, ‘get ready for the next shock!’
It may be recalled that Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu was appointed Women Wing Chief on March 17, 2021. Sidhu had same day met Capt Amarinder Singh at his Siswan Farm House.
