The Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) while coming down heavily and strongly condemning the lathicharge on farmers in Haryana and Punjab who were peacefully protesting against the black laws, Party President and Rajya Sabha Member S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa announced to do the Gherao of residences of both Punjab and Haryana Chief Ministers.
In a statement issued here,S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa said that BJP and Congress are trying to suppress the voices of Farmers through their repressive policies.
S. Dhindsa said that while raising the voice against the ruling dictatorial governments who are inflicting atrocities on the farmers their Party will hold protest outside the residences of Punjab Chief Minister, Capt. Amarinder Singh and Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday.
S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa said that senior leaders of the party and workers would stage the protest outside the residences of both the Chief Ministers under the leadership of MLA and former Finance Minister, S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa.
S. Dhindsa said that the voice of the peaceful protesting Farmers fighting for their rights could not be suppressed with the force of sticks.
Center, Haryana and Punjab government have to pay the price for the atrocities being perpetrated against ‘Anandata’, added S. Dhindsa.
Strongly condemning the recent lathicharge on farmers in Moga, S. Dhindsa lashed out at Capt. Government for initating lathicharge in Moga and registering cases against innocent farmers. He said that on one side Punjab government is faking their support for farmers sitting on Delhi borders, while surprisingly on the other farmers are being lathicharged and cases are being registered against them in Punjab only.
S. Dhindsa said that the people of Punjab have now completely understood the machinations of these traditional parties and would teach them a befitting lesson by showing them doors the forthcoming Assembly elections.
