AAP will form Govt with clear majority; Over 8 lakh people respond to choose CM face call: Harpal Cheema

Chandigarh, January 14, 2022 (Yes Punjab News)
In merely 24 hours, more than eight lakh people have responded to the number released by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for choosing the party’s chief ministerial face in Punjab.

Addressing the media on Friday, senior AAP leader and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Harpal Singh Cheema said that during the last 24 hours, more than three lakh WhatsApp messages, more than four lakh phone calls, more than 50000 text messages and more than one lakh voice messages have been received on the number. He said that AAP shall announce its CM candidate after collecting and compiling the entire data.

Cheema said that the people of Punjab have made up their mind to wipe out traditional parties indulging in dirty politics and form their own government by voting in favour of AAP with a clear majority.

He said that the overwhelming support being received by the Aam Aadmi Party has proved that the people of Punjab are fed up with the misrule and promotion of corruption and mafia by Akalis, Congress, BJP and Captain. It is clear indication that people of Punjab now want change.

Lashing out at the BJP and its allies, Cheema said that the Modi government and BJP leaders hatched various conspiracies to defame Punjab and the farmers of Punjab.

Its leaders attacked the farmers of Punjab and filed false cases against them but still some political parties of Punjab have joined hands with BJP, for their political gains, which harassed and humiliated the farming community but people of Punjab will give a befitting reply to all those parties. The security deposit of BJP and all its allies will stand forfeited during these elections.
