BJP Leader and Former Health Minister, Punjab, Sardar Balbir Singh Sidhu said that the AAP Government has failed to maintain a strong sense of law and order in Punjab. Punjab is regressing to its difficult period of hardship from mid-1980s to mid-1990s, when the threat to life security was at its height.
He said that the cold-blooded murder of Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri in broad daylight is a most deplorable act. This is another illustration of AAP govt’s failure in maintaining law & order which highlights their poor administration & expose their credibility. It is evident in such series of events that the Government is supporting and nurturing such anti-social elements.
Till date Justice has not been delivered in the Sidhu Moosewala’s murder case. Gangsters are proudly taking responsibilities of murders one after the other. Police officers are helping gangsters to escape from custody. Corruption is at an all time high. Justice is just a hypothetical word in Punjab due to which fear has been engrossed in the minds of the common public.
This is vividly known by the AAP government that such incidents can immediately spark communal tension between two groups. Which is not healthy for the social fabric of the society, he added. I urge the people of Punjab to maintain peace and do not pay any heed to rumours. AAP Leaders should immediately take cognizance of the matter and direct the agencies to identify the mastermind behind such a condemnable act.
**AAP fails on stubble burning issue**
Punjab has witnessed an unprecedented 20 percent rise in the stubble burning cases especially in the home district of CM, Bhagwant Mann (Sangrur). He said that AAP made huge claims on ensuring this stubble menace before election but these claims stand fake and mere hollow promise to the innocent people of Punjab. AAP failed to deliver Rs. 2500 as committed to farmers for stubble management and when the situation went out of control they transferred the blame to the Central Government and Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, which is unfair on their part.
I would like to know what happened to that bio-decomposition solution which was propagated at a large scale to combat this stubble menace before election. This Government has nothing to offer in the interest of punjab except announcements and hollow promises.
