In recognition of exemplary service, the Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab has awarded a commendation disc to Onkar Singh Brar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Shahkot, District Jalandhar Rural.
The prestigious honor was bestowed upon DSP Brar in acknowledgment of his outstanding contributions to maintaining law and order, improving investigation standards, and spearheading anti-drug operations in the Shahkot region.
SSP Jalandhar Rural, Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh, presented the commendation disc to DSP Brar during a ceremony held at the district headquarters. The event highlighted the Punjab Police’s commitment to recognizing officers who demonstrate exceptional dedication to public service.
Speaking at the occasion, SSP Khakh emphasized that such recognition from the DGP Punjab reflects the high standards maintained by officers in Jalandhar Rural Police. He noted that the commendation would further motivate the force to intensify their efforts in combating crime and drug addiction.
After receiving the honor, DSP Brar expressed his gratitude to DGP Punjab, Shri Gaurav Yadav, IPS, and SSP Jalandhar Rural Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh.
He pledged to continue serving with renewed dedication and to uphold the trust placed in him by the Punjab Police leadership.
