We are delighted that DIYA Gupta, a bright Class 8 student of The British CoEd High School, Devigarh Road Patiala, has made Patiala and Punjab proud by securing the 1st Rank * in the prestigious State-Level Olympiad Exam conducted by the *India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Diya’s success story is a testament to her dedication. She thoroughly studied the online materials provided by the IMD and confidently excelled in the state-level online Olympiad. Her determination and preparation paid off in this highly competitive examination.
As part of her achievement, Diya had the extraordinary opportunity to attend the 150th Anniversary celebration of the IMD in New Delhi. The event was graced by Honourable Prime Minister Shree Narendra Modi ji, Andrea Celeste Saulo Ma’am, Director General of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and Dr. Jitendra Singh Sir as chief guests.
Standing in the presence of PM sir, engaging in a meaningful conversation with Andrea Celeste Saulo Ma’am, and interacting with IMD dignitaries was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Diya.
Her remarkable achievements inspires us all and underscores the incredible potential of young minds from Punjab.
