Chairman District Planning Committee has directed the Jalandhar Development Authority (JDA) to initiate the Urban Estate Phase-3 project to meet the city’s growing demand for new housing.
During a meeting with JDA Estate Officer Alka Kalia and other officials, the Chairman emphasized that the proposed development will address housing needs for a significant portion of the population.
Highlighting the increasing requirement for parking facilities, the Chairman also instructed JDA to identify a suitable site for a multistorey parking structure.
He stressed the importance of addressing parking challenges within the city and urged the JDA to expedite the planning and implementation of a comprehensive parking project.
Additionally, the Chairman reviewed the progress of ongoing JDA projects and emphasized the need for timely execution to further strengthen basic infrastructurein the city.
He advised the officials to maintain a strict timeline for all development initiatives, ensuring that projects align with the city’s infrastructure goals.
