Hollywood actress Lily Collins, best known for her role in Emily in Paris, celebrated her fifth wedding anniversary with husband Charlie McDowell by sharing a series of cherished throwback pictures from their wedding and family life.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Collins posted photographs capturing intimate moments with McDowell, including the couple embracing and sharing affectionate moments, as well as pictures with their daughter.
Reflecting on their journey together, Collins described McDowell as her “favorite person and best friend” and expressed gratitude for the support, laughter and adventures they have shared over the past five years.
She also spoke about their daughter Tove, describing her as their “greatest little blessing” and the sweetest part of the life they have built together. Collins said watching McDowell become a father and experiencing parenthood as a family had been among the greatest joys of her life.
Collins and McDowell began dating in 2019 and got engaged in 2020 after McDowell proposed during a trip to New Mexico. They married on September 4, 2021, in an intimate ceremony at Dunton Hot Springs in Colorado, surrounded by a mountain landscape.
For her wedding, Collins wore a distinctive long-sleeved, hooded lace gown designed by Ralph Lauren.
In January 2025, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Tove Jane McDowell, via surrogate.
The anniversary comes as Collins continues to balance her acting career with family life, with her role as Emily Cooper in the Netflix series Emily in Paris remaining one of her most recognised performances.
