Mohan Bhagwat Remarks Trigger BJP-RSS Debate, Says CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra), August 7, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) convener Abhijeet Dipke on Friday alleged a lack of coordination between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) over their approach towards the Gen Z movement, and urged BJP leaders to follow RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s remarks on the issue.

Dipke’s comments came a day after Bhagwat, during an interaction with Gen Z and Gen Alpha students in Mumbai, said that young protesters should not be labelled anti-national and that their concerns were genuine.

Speaking to reporters in his hometown, Dipke said Bhagwat’s statement acknowledging the grievances of young protesters was significant.

“The most important statement made by Mohan Bhagwat ji was that Gen Z and youth should not be called anti-national. Those who are protesting have the right to do so, and their issues are genuine,” he said.

He urged BJP leaders to take note of Bhagwat’s remarks, saying the RSS chief’s views should be heard by leaders of the ruling party.

Referring to the CJP’s earlier protest at Jantar Mantar, Dipke alleged that some BJP leaders had used harsh terms against protesters. He claimed that BJP president Nitin Nabin had referred to them as “virus”, while former Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had called them the “B team of terrorists”.

“If BJP leaders are not listening to their mentor, then it is quite problematic. Mohan Bhagwat ji should himself speak to BJP leaders,” Dipke said.

He added that Bhagwat’s comments suggested differences in the messaging of the BJP and RSS.

“It seems there is no synchronisation between the BJP and RSS as both are saying different things,” he said.

During his interaction in Mumbai, Bhagwat had said that Gen Z protesters were not against the nation and described them as the next generation of the country. He said appeals based on patriotism and public service could connect effectively with young people.

Meanwhile, Dipke said the CJP aims to work as a pressure group by bringing citizens together on issues concerning the country and youth, rather than focusing on political ideologies or party-based issues.

He said the Jantar Mantar protest demonstrated that citizens could influence government decisions when they came together beyond political differences.
