Punjab Government’s Digital Push Strengthens Consumer Complaint Redressal System

The Punjab Government has taken a significant step towards improving transparency and efficiency in public service delivery by mandating the online closure of consumer complaints through dedicated mobile applications and digital platforms.

In line with this initiative, field staff of PSPCL have actively adopted the system to ensure timely and accountable grievance redressal. Demonstrating exemplary performance, Shri Amit Kumar, Lineman working in civil line subdivision(tech) under model town division,Patiala has successfully closed 91% of consumer complaints through the online app during February 2026.

In recognition of his outstanding contribution and commitment to duty, Shri Amit Kumar has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Er. Rupali Dhaliwal Chief Engineer/DS South.

This achievement reflects not only individual dedication but also highlights the positive impact of digital governance in enhancing service delivery standards. The department encourages all field staff to follow such best practices and contribute towards building a more responsive and citizen-centric system.
