MBD Neopolis honored 10 women who have excelled in their respective professions and followed their passion in life. Showcasing its commitment towards mall visitors and community MBD Neopolis organised the event with full enthusiasm. This years theme : For all women and girls: Rights, Equality, Empowerment was celebrated at mall.
The ten girls and women who were honored have made their name is various professions like biker, radio jockey, make up artist, fashion designer, environmentalist and socail media influencers and event management.
The honored girls and women Anjana Joshi, Ritu Kolentine, Seema Jaggi, Lipika kochar, Meenal verma, Aruna, Rasneet, Prabhjot kaur, Shashi kiran and Navjot Kaur commenced the ceremony with cake cutting ceremony and shared their experiences of life.
A writer Shashi Kiran said she did her masters in Fine arts, got 3rd position in the university started writing in newspapers 4 years back and till now more than 200 letters has been published in newspapers.
“I m very passionate about writing on social issues. She is also associated with Innerwheel club of Jalandhar Royal and was President last year. I love to do welfare work for special children and less privileged.” she further added.
Seema Jaggi Chowdry, entrepreneur in the field of event management has not only orchestrated numerous corporate and civil events but has also been a trailblazer in organizing Punjab’s first Women’s Car Rally—an initiative dedicated to promoting women’s empowerment and confidence behind the wheel. This year we plan to bring up the 4th season of this initiative.
“Beyond this, I hold a deep commitment to environmental sustainability having the privilege of organizing Jalandhar’s first-ever Flower Show “BAGICHA” a unique initiative aimed at fostering greenery, organic farming, and kitchen waste management.
As the only private organizer of such an event—typically managed by government bodies—I take immense pride in pioneering efforts that contribute to a greener and healthier future.” she further added.
Prabhjot Kaur said, I am a passionate animal rescuer and the founder of Raahat – A Hope for Strays Foundation.
I have dedicated my life to providing care, protection, and a voice for the voiceless, striving to create a world where animals are treated with compassion and dignity. My work goes beyond rescue—it’s about coexistence, advocacy, and making a lasting impact on animal welfare.
Lipika kochar, secretary, Kheti Virasat Mission (KVM) KVM an NGO and civil society movement. shared her views about environment, health and organic farming.
Breaking stereotypes Ambika Soni a known Biker in Jalandhar and North invited all women entrepreneurs to join for explore Punjab ride and shared her insights experience on being a woman biker.
Seema Soni , RJ Radio City shared her experience and on public demand said few of her dialogues with mall visitors.
Rasneet, social media influencer shared her experiences about the life of Instagram and youtube professionals.
