16 families contacted DSGMC for help to their relatives stuck in Ukraine

Harmeet Singh Kalka, President and Jagdip Singh Kahlon, General Secretary, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has issued a press statement informing that 16 families have contacted DSGMC on its helpline number +91-011-23712580-82 for help of their relatives stuck in Ukraine due to the ongoing war there.

The stranded Indians are facing lots of problems of food, water and shelter etc. We are assisting the families in liaising with Ukraine Embassy in New Delhi, Indian Embassy in Ukraine, Hungary, Poland and Ministry of External Affairs, GOI.

Kalka and Kahlon said on demand from Govt., DSGMC will be pleased to provide all its well equipped Sarai in the historical Gurdwaras of Delhi free of charge to the evacuated Indians who recently brought back from Ukraine to India and will extend all possible help. DSGMC praises the efforts of Government of India for the evacuation of Indian stranded in Ukraine and hope that all Indians stranded there would be brought back safely.

DSGMC is in constant touch with the families and government ministry in this regard. We are standing by the affected families in the hour of distress and pray almighty for the safe return of their children and relatives. DSGMC is always ready to serve the humanity and country whenever the country needs it.
