Following the recommendations from the district congress committee presidents of Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Amritsar and Patiala and the PCC observers there, the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee today expelled all those partymen who have turned rebel and are contesting the election against the official party candidates in the ongoing Municipal Corporations in Ludhaina, Jalandhar, Patiala and Amritsar.
The following leaders of Amritsar have been expelled by PCC.
