On the occasion of Republic Day, two police officers of Haryana have been awarded the President’s Police Medal for distinguished service whereas 12 others will get Police Medal for meritorious service.
While stating this here today, a spokesperson of Haryana Police said that Ram Kumar Inspector Yamunanagar and ParmodChand Sub-Inspector Panchkula have been awarded the President’s Police Medal for distinguished service.
Krishan Murari, SP Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban, Shiv Charan SP Hisar and Omvir Singh, SP Traffic Karnal will get Police Medal for meritorious service.
Others who have been decorated with Police Medal for meritorious service include GurmailSingh DSP SCB Panchkula, Raj Pal Sub-Inspector, Suresh Kumar ESI, Ashok Kumar ASI, Ramesh Kumar ASI, Ram Pal ASI, Ram PhalEASI, Manoj Kumar ORP/ASI and ParveenKumar Head Constable.
Congratulating the officers and officials, Director General of Police (DGP), Mr ManojYadava said that it is a great honour for the entire State Police as its 14 officers and personnel decorated with Police Medals in recognition of their outstanding performance and discharge of duty with utmost sincerity, dedication and commitment. The recognition of their tireless and relentless efforts at national level would go a long way to further boost their morale as well as of others in state police force, he added.
