Deputy Commissioner Mansa Mrs Apneet Riyait has directed SSP Mansa for registration of case against owners of private land in village Khiala Kalan where two borewells were found open.
DC Mrs Apneet Riyait stated that the Block Development and Panchayat office Mansa had received complaint of two borewells being open in village Khiala Kalan. On inspection, it was found that near Gurudwara Beri Sahib village Rachpal Singh had dug 3 feet wide and 10 feet deep pit for use of toilets.
The administration has now got it filled up. Similarly, Rakesh Kumar from the same village had dug up borewell in 6 feet wide and 12 feet deep well, which too was found open. This too has been filled up.
DC Mrs Apneet Riyait stated that strict action will be taken against owners of private land in whose land the borewells are found open. She cautioned people to fill up the borewells on their own
