Under the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Dr. Karamjeet Singh, the Directorate of Placement & Career Enhancement at Guru Nanak Dev University, successfully facilitated campus recruitment drive by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for the academic batch passing out in June 2026.
TCS, one of the leading global IT services and consulting organizations, has selected 57 students through this campus recruitment drive.
The students belong to various B.Tech. and MCA courses of GNDU main campus Amritsar and it’s Regional Campuses. These students will join their jobs after passing out their respective courses. TCS visits GNDU every year for it’s campus hiring as GNDU is one of the priority college for TCS.
Congratulating the selected students, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Karamjeet Singh, said that GNDU remains committed to providing quality education, skill development, and holistic growth opportunities to its students.
Dr. Harvinder Singh Saini, Dean Academic Affairs, remarked that the success of GNDU students in the TCS campus drive reflects the robust academic framework and outcome-based education system of the university. Dr. K. S. Chahal, Registrar, said that the university is looking forward to strengthening it’s association with TCS and other reputed organizations thereby creating more placement opportunities for its students.
Expressing his satisfaction over the remarkable outcome, Dr. Amit Chopra, Director, Directorate of Placement & Career Enhancement, GNDU, stated that the selection of 57 students by a prestigious organization like TCS is a testimony to the hard work of students and the dedicated efforts of the placement team. He added that GNDU continuously focuses on industry-oriented training, soft skills development, and career guidance to prepare students for competitive corporate environments.
