In a recent video shared by Sood, the actor interacted with a woman named Mrs Kumari, who runs a small business of selling meals. “She is a self-made lady. When we talk about women empowerment, we talk about how everyone should work hard for families, and Kumari aunty is the best example,” said the actor in the video.
He shared the video on his social media and wrote, “YOU ARE YOUR ONLY LIMIT. Kumari aunty is a testament to the quiet strength and fierce resilience that resides in each woman. Let us support, celebrate, uplift and empower these bearers of boundless strength by our words and actions ..”
Sonu Sood’s support towards empowering women solidifies him as the real hero. Several admirers of the ‘Fateh’ actor heaped praises on his efforts for empowering women and their contribution towards families. While Sonu Sood continues to win hearts of the masses with his philanthropic work, he is gearing to set the big screens on fire with his maiden directorial film ‘Fateh’.
Also starring Naseeruddin Shah and Jacqueline Fernandez, ‘Fateh’ is cybercrime thriller with blends of action, which promises to be at par with Hollywood actioners. The film is slated to hit the theatres soon this year.
