Six laning project of Green Field National Highway from IT City Junction to Kharar-Kurali-Chandigarh soon commences amidst continuous efforts by MP and former Union Minister Manish Tewari for the development of Lok Sabha constituency, whose detailed project report is being prepared.
In a statement issued here, MP Tewari said that in his letter to Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, he had told about the importance of this project in view of public problems, in response to which the Union Minister has written that IT City The detailed project report of the 31.190 km long Greenfield National Highway going from Junction to Kharar-Kurali-Chandigarh is being prepared by DPR Consultant.
Similarly, DPR is being prepared for the development of the section of National Highway from IT City Junction to Tepla.
The Union Minister has also revealed that he has already had a high-level meeting with the Punjab government regarding highway development projects with the Trinity.
Significantly, efforts are being made by MP Tewari for the development of the Lok Sabha constituency under which the elevated road passing through Kharar was also started.
