Sirsa condemns attack on Kabul Gurdwara, urges GoI to take steps to ensure safety of Sikhs in Afghanistan

BJP Sikh leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa today strongly condemned heinous attack on Kabul Gurudwara Sahib Karte Parwan and urged Government of India to take requisite steps to ensure safety of Sikh community in Afghanistan.

In a statement issued here today, Mr. Sirsa said that it is shocking that Islamic terrorist have made a pious place of worship as their target and shot dead its guards and wound several pilgrims and used explosive to cause damage to Gurudwara Sahib.

He said that this highly respected religious place had nothing to with these ISIS terrorists and they have made a huge blunder and committed a grave sin in attacking it.

He urged Government of India that members of Sikhs community aren’t safe in Afghanistan and requisite steps should be taken to ensure their safety. He said that government should also make arrangements to bring those Sikh to India who wished to be shifted here.
