The Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit has announced a series of organisational appointments aimed at strengthening and streamlining the party structure.
In a written press statement, party office secretary Jagjit Singh Kohli said the appointments had been made on the directions of party president Giani Harpreet Singh. The new organisational team includes vice-presidents, general secretaries, organising secretaries, joint secretaries, publicity secretary, secretaries and four district presidents.
