As part of his engagement, Mr. Rana contributed to a side event focused on the World Games for Indigenous Peoples, emphasizing achievements under Article 31 of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

Titled “Good Practices in the Implementation of UNDRIP through Global Cooperation for the Promotion of Indigenous Culture and Traditional Sports in Diversity,” the event was co-hosted by the International Council of Traditional Sports and Games and the Comité Intertribal Memória e Ciência Indígena.

During the session, Marcos Terena, President of the Comité, also introduced the upcoming World Indigenous Games 2025, scheduled to take place in Brazil.

Further demonstrating his commitment to global collaboration, Mr. Rana participated in an additional side event on the Commonwealth Sport Declaration, organized by WIN Sports International and co-sponsored by the International Organization of Indigenous Resource Development (IOIRD).

This session aimed to strengthen multilateral support for Indigenous athletes and cultural initiatives across Commonwealth nations and beyond.
