Youth Akali Dal today lashed out at Congress Government of Punjab led by Charanjit Singh Channi for selective leaks in media to tarnish image of former Minister Bikram Singh Majithia and asked the Government to apologize for these dirty tricks.
Addressing a press conference here this afternoon, Youth Akali Dal President and SAD Spokesman Parmban Singh Romana said that it is most unfortunate to see that selective leaks are being made to media to tarnish image of former Minister Bikram Singh Majithia. He said that everyone in Punjab knows who exposed gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria and his links with current Home Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhwara. He said that since last five years jails of state have become heaven for gansters who are running their network from these jails.
He said that he was shocked to see selective media report claiming links of Majithia with Jaggu Bhagwanpuria. He said that when he checked with facts it emerged that this report was prepared by former Cop Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh. He said that everyone in state knows who patronized Kunwar vijay partap and on whom’s instructions he made reports like this one.
He said that fact of the matter is that through selective media leaks image of former Minister Majithia is being tarnished and attempts are being made to present him as villain whereas it is also known to everyone that he had exposed Jaggu Bhagwanipuria’s links with Home Minister. He said that mother of Bhagwanpuria got elected Sarpanch unopposed of village falling in constituency of Sukhjinder Randhawa this was also known to all. He said that on whose instruction Bhagwanpuria also allowed to hold Birthday parties in Jail is also known to everybody.
YAD President said that Akali dal led by Bikram Singh Majithia had filed a complaint with DGP against Bhagwanpuria and other gangsters but no action has been taken in this case till date. He said government works on selective basis this was also proved with facts as it did not took any action in case of murder of Mohinder Bittu who was killed in Nabha jail and similarly Gurpinder Singh accused of Rs./ 2700 crore drug issue was killed in Amritsar but no report has been filed till date.
Parmbans Singh Romana remined Home Minister Randhawa that days of this government has been numbered and after coming to power SAD-BSP coalition government will order investigation all false and baseless cases and action will be taken accordingly.
