Record win in Punjab by-election has put stamp on people’s unwavering faith in AAP govt: Sanjay Singh

New Delhi, 13 July, 2024 (Yes Punjab News)

The people of Punjab have stamped their unwavering faith in the Bhagwant Mann government by giving the Aam Aadmi Party a record victory in the by-election held on the Jalandhar West assembly seat.

Congratulating all the workers of “AAP” on the victory, senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that our candidate Mohinder Bhagat has won by nearly 38,000 votes.

This victory has given the message that whoever betrays the Aam Aadmi Party, his politics will end. AAP workers had made Sheetal Angural win with hard work, but he betrayed and went to the BJP and now he had to face a crushing defeat.

Echoing similar views, AAP National General Secretary (Organisation) Dr. Sandeep Pathak said that the victory of Jalandhar West has stamped Kejriwal’s politics of work and has slapped the BJP hard.

This victory has also proved that the people of Punjab have faith in Arvind Kejriwal and Sardar Bhagwant Mann and are very happy with their work.

Sanjay Singh said Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann fought the election by campaigning day and night with all his ministers, MLAs and workers. The beauty of the Aam Aadmi Party’s organization is that everyone works together for their goal.

The result of the Lok Sabha elections was not as per our expectations, but the by-election of Jalandhar West in Punjab proved that the people of Punjab have complete faith and trust in the state government.

If we talk about INDIA alliance in the whole country, then there is good news for the INDIA alliance as it is winning this election almost one-sidedly. Therefore, the BJP should understand that work is not going to be done with just empty promises and false slogans. The BJP will have to do something for the farmers and youth.

Schemes like Agniveer will have to be abolished and old army recruitment will have to be restored, he added.

Sanjay Singh said that the biggest and encouraging thing for the workers of the Aam Aadmi Party is that it has got God’s blessing. Whoever betrays the party, his political career ends. History so far shows that whoever left the Aam Aadmi Party and joined the BJP, what happened to him, is in front of the whole country.

There is a big message hidden in the by-election of Punjab for our MLAs, MPs, ministers and other colleagues. “We do not say that we have only good qualities in us. We must have some shortcomings in us too.

If there is something, then we should sit together and communicate. If there are differences with each other, then resolve them, but stay within the family of the Aam Aadmi Party. If you go outside this family, you will not get any respect,” he said.

Giving the example of Rinku, who was an AAP MP from Jalandhar, he said that Rinku was made to win by our workers with hard work. We considered him as our younger brother and tried to convince him a lot, but he went to the BJP and lost the Lok Sabha elections.

Apart from this, Jalandhar West MLA Sheetal also won due to the hard work of the Aam Aadmi Party workers.

But Sheetal left the AAP and went to the BJP. Due to this, Jalandhar West by-election was held, and AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat won by 38,000 votes. After joining the BJP, both Rinku and Sheetal lost.

We learn from both of them that if you betray the AAP, then your politics will end. “The Aam Aadmi Party worker joins someone with great loyalty and hard work, it is not right to hurt him in any way. If the party is in trouble, it is not right to betray it.

The big message of Jalandhar West by-election is that if the party is in trouble, stand firmly with it. If you leave the party, you will have to face defeat,” said Sanjay Singh.

Regarding the leaders leaving Aam Aadmi Party and joining other parties, Dr Sandeep Pathak said that this dirty chain of leaving the party for money or power is going on, this victory is a message to all those people that you should not do all this.

Those who won the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections from Jalandhar on the symbol of the Aam Aadmi Party left the party and joined the BJP. I have my sympathies for both of them. They insulted the votes of the people. The public never forgives the person who insults the majority and betrays their majority.

The public never gives love or blessings to such a person again. I want to tell those who go from one party to another for petty gains that you should not ruin your political career, he added.
