“Dumping of ration beneath the earth by the officials of Bathinda Corporation which was meant for distribution among the poor during lockdown has once again exposed the anti- people, anti-poor attitude of the Congress government in Punjab” these views were expressed by Prof. Baljinder Kaur AAP Legislator from Talwandi Sabo while addressing media persons here today.
She said that the tall claims of Amarinder Singh regarding feeding every poor person and distribution of ration at their doorsteps during lockdown stands exposed.
The startling revelation has pointed towards misappropriation of funds that have been shown to be used for the purchase of ration during lockdown.
Demanding a time bound inquiry into the incident from a sitting High Court judge, Baljinder Kaur said that bungling of ration meant for the needy that too during the toughest times needs a thorough probe and all those involved in this inhumane incident must be brought to the book.
