On this occasion, Rana Gurjeet Singh expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Doaba Sports club and remarked that taking a traditional sport like kabaddi—deeply ingrained in the soul of Punjab—to greater heights is a shared collective responsibility. He emphasized that sports not only steer youth away from substance abuse but also instil discipline, promote a healthy lifestyle, and reinforce Punjab’s identity on the national stage.
Addressing sports enthusiasts and the younger generation, Rana Gurjeet Singh made a significant announcement, stating that during the Kabaddi Championship scheduled for 2027, a grand arena featuring renowned singers will be organized under his patronage, ensuring that cultural vibrancy complements the sporting fervour.
